FIFA sponsor threatens to withdraw
Updated | By Sky News
One of FIFA's main sponsors says it wants to see a more independent reforms process taking place at the scandal-hit governing body.
Visa Inc. has added that it will consider withdrawing support if it is not happy with reforms.
The company's vice-chair Ellen Richey appeared at a British parliamentary hearing into FIFA yesterday, along with representatives from McDonald's, Coca-Cola and Budweiser.
Earlier this year, they all urged Sepp Blatter to quit as president.
Blatter was linked to a scandal involving over $150 million in bribes that saw 14 FIFA officials charged with fraud and money laundering.
According to Sky News, Richey told MPs they will be watching FIFA very closely.
