Father calls out for daughter after crashing off bridge north of Durban
A man whose car plunged 30 metres from a bridge in Tongaat, north of Durban only had one person on his mind while waiting to be rescued from the chilly waters.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says the driver, who appeared to be in his 30s, was in shock and emotional when they reached him last night.

Initial reports are that the man lost control of his vehicle in rainy conditions.
Herbst says rescue crews were lowered down from the bridge, using an advanced hoisting system.
The man sustained a number of broken bones in the accident.
He is receiving treatment in hospital.
