Fate of Richmond farm baboons to be decided
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The future of the baboon population on a Richmond farm in the Midlands where two young cousins were attacked by one of the animals last week is due to be decided tomorrow.

Six-year-old Selukelo Xaba and his 10-year-old cousin were mauled by one of the baboons.
They've been receiving treatment at the Edendale Hospital in Pietermaritzburg.
The farmer accused of letting the animals loose, David Aadnesgaard says 14 baboons were released on the property by a Durban-based animal rehabilitation centre.
He says the rehabilitation centre, wildlife authorities and other stakeholders will discuss their options in Richmond.
"The one is to eliminate them all. The second one is to find another home to capture them and to relocate them. I'm just a landowner, I don't own these baboons.
"They fall under KZN wildlife and they were released here by Crow. I'm just a custodian but I'm happy to go with any decision that was made at that meeting," he said.
