Family of slain Umbilo businessman seeks closure
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The family of a Durban businessman who was shot and killed this week say they're devastated by his untimely passing.
The victim and his business partner were attacked at a property on York Avenue in Glenwood on Wednesday.
He was declared dead at a scene, while the woman survived the shooting.
This relative who asked not to be named says the man's wife who recently survived a stroke is shattered...
"My mum is not taking it too well because she's trying her best to keep everything under control. She's managing as best as she can, she's being strong for her two daughters but you can see she is sickly. She just wants to get the funeral done and from there start settling in."

The relative says the family has many questions.
"We are trying our best to manage, it is difficult and to get closure, there are too many unknowns. Everybody is listening to everybody else coming in with scenarios and different stories and putting more on our plates.
"As it is we are trying to finalise funeral arrangements and it isn't easy. The scene that we witnessed will not allow you to sleep at night."
A manhunt continues.
