Family of slain Mtubatuba man fearing for their lives
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The family of a slain elderly man whose body was discovered near a dam in Mtubatuba says they are living in fear.

Mandlenkosi Nzuza was killed by unknown suspects in the Ndoyana area last week.
It's understood his body was dumped in a forest near St. Lucia Dam.
The 63-year-old has since been laid to rest.
His son, Xolani, says he's concerned about the rising levels of crime in the neighbourhood, especially against the elderly.
He says in another recent incident, an elderly woman was sexually assaulted before being killed.

He's called for justice for victims.
"We sincerely hope that all those responsible for the crimes committed against the grandmother are found. But there's deep frustration, because even when they are arrested, they’re often released too soon.
"That’s why some in the community feel that justice through the legal system isn’t enough."
Police are investigating a case of murder.
