Family shares video tribute to Klara

The video - created by here father - shows Göttert playing on the beach, abseiling and horse riding. 

The principal at Klara’s school, Deutsche Internationale Schule has sent condolences to family while pupils have placed flowers and posted messages on the premises. 

Klara Göttert fell to her death at Northgate Mall in Johannesburg last week.

Her memorial was held at the Dutch Reformed Church.

The veil of sorrow that draws over Johannesburg, the province, the country, continent and this world today, is a veil of pain and sorrow that is too heavy for one person, one family or one school to carry.. This is why we congregate as human beings to draw strength from each other today. The support has been incredible.
I want to give my condolences to every person who has been touched by Klara in person on by her story in any way. 
You too have been touched by her loss and her amazing spirit. 
You, who never knew her... 
You, who wrote to me and said you don't know us but that your heart is torn to shreds and you have been crying all day... 
to you, who have gone through similar situations, who have lost your own children... 
to you who is sad today, 
to you I give my condolences as well. 
To you I give a hug and all my support as well.
We celebrate Klara's life today and we all mourn her. 
We mourn the children that you have also lost and the pain that you carry.
To you who told me this week that you have tried to take your life and to you who have thought about it... today is a day for you too. 
And to you who have thought about suicide and who is still thinking about it, look and see how many people loved Klara and how she didn't even realise it. 
The same goes for you. 
People love you, even though it doesn't seem like it in the darkest hour.
Goodbye my little angel. Mamma is lief vir jou. Ons het jou almal innig lief vir die res van ewig. My poplap. My meisiekind. My enigste enigiste Klara in die hele wereld... Totsiens my poppie. Mamma sal jou weer sien.

Police said the schoolgirl's death was being treated as a suicide and are waiting for postmortem results.
