Family reeling after Wentworth chef is shot dead
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
The family of a Wentworth man who was killed this week says he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Twenty-three-year-old chef Mazwai Magenu was shot on Wednesday along with five others who survived the attack.
Police reports indicate they had been sitting outside a tuckshop when a group of armed men jumped out of a vehicle and opened fire.
Magenu's aunt Nobahle Makenu says his mother is inconsolable over the death of her eldest son.
"My sister is very bad. She kept on asking me what did my child do to deserve and how he died? And he didn't do anything.
"He wasn't a troublesome person. He was always kind to everybody, so I guess it was the wrong place and the wrong time. I couldn't believe that it is actually him because every night when shootings take place, I always try and contact him and on Wednesday, he left his phone at home."
She says on the day of the shooting, they heard neighbours screaming and calling out her nephew's name.
"As a family, [we went] to go and see what is happening. By the time we got there, he was already in a car.
"One of our neighbours took him to the hospital. When they got to the hospital they took him out of the car and he was already gone."
A case of murder and five of attempted murder are being investigated by the Wentworth police.
