Family pleads for info on Durban businessman's murder
Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter
The family of slain Durban businessman, Kidesh Ramjettan is offering a R50,000 reward for information that might lead to the arrest of those behind his killing.
The 37-year-old father was shot outside the Engen garage he owned, called Glazer Motors, on South Coast Road last month.
He was talking to a friend when an unknown gunman approached the pair, shot Ramjettan and fled. It has been almost a month but police say no arrests have been made yet.
"The father is very traumatised. He is 80-years-old. Sometimes, he just looks at the video and bursts out crying. The mother is also very traumatised," Ramjettan's cousin, Prethun Bechan said.

Bechan says they just want answers.
"The family is at a dead end at the moment. The idea of offering a reward was to get some sort of idea of what could have been the cause of such a callous murder. He was a simple man who led a simple life," he adds.
Anyone who does have information can contact their nearest police station.
