Family hopeful Miguel Louw will be found

The aunt of a 10-year-old missing Sydenham boy says they just want to have him home and care very little about the court appearances of the man accused of abducting him.

The case was postponed yesterday to the end of the month for a bail application - something the accused wasn't happy about and let the court know it.

Outside court, Miguel's aunt - Tashnim Dos Santos said they still had faith the boy would return home alive.

"I believe he is alive and he is coming home, in Jesus' name. God is the only one that can make that call - no other human being. We all have that goal at the end of the day and its finding this child," Dos Santos said.

The family is appealing for more eyes and ears to join the ongoing search for the missing boy.

"That's why we are pleading to people to please come forward. People got to know or [must] have seen something. That's all we want," she said.

The suspect will remain at Westville Prison until his bail application at the end of the month.
