Family of boy slain of Glencoe farm say he had a bright future ahead

The family of a 17-year-old boy who was shot and killed on a farm in Glencoe near Dundee says they are heartbroken.

It's believed Qiniso Dlamini had gone to collect his family’s cattle that had strayed onto the property on Tuesday.
It’s alleged a farmer accused the teenager of trespassing and shot him.
The 68-year-old suspect appeared before the Glencoe Magistrate's Court on Thursday, facing a murder charge.
The case has been postponed to next week.
Qiniso's uncle Sibonelo Khulu says his nephew was a respectful young man.
"It is very difficult in terms of coping with this because with are thinking of the feature that the child was having ahead of him since he was a very good behaving child and he was focused.
"So we are just thinking of the situation whereby a boy of 17 years losing his life."
