An expert speaks out about Zimbabwe's latest attempt to 'control the population'
Updated | By Steve Bengu

Arthur Goldstuck believes limiting Internet access is not possible in the long-term.
"When you consider it, more and more communication in Africa particular is via satellite.
"If there is a way that say government can block that kind of communication and someone with satellite access is not licensed by government they in fact can extend that access to people in the environment to also make use of communications media via satellite so its a lost cause to try and block everybody," he said.
More than 110 people were arrested during protests across Zimbabwe yesterday. Communities are angry over cash shortages, a ban on certain foreign imports and alleged heavy-handed policing.
