Expert gives insights on Durban tremor
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The earth tremor felt across Durban at the weekend is still a big talking point.

The Council for Geoscience has released the final figures of the earth tremor that was felt across Durban and other parts of the province on Saturday.
It says the seismic was recorded at a magnitude of 3.8 and occurred off the coast of Umhlanga. It was felt from the south coast to Howick.
Project Manager at the Council for Geoscience, Michelle Grobbelaar says by the time that the seismic waves reached the shore - most of the intensity had dissipated.
She says when it was felt inland, the magnitude had been reduced to about 3 on the Richter Scale.
