Updated | By Zongile Mthimkhulu

Palesa Sekhajane has been speaking to Newswatch after a United Nations panel on education sat yesterday at the World Social Sciences Forum in Durban.
"[It requires] Mobilisation of funds to actually make sure that access to education becomes affordable or even free.

A recent Institute of Race Relations report suggests nearly half of all children enrolled in Grade 1 do not reach matric.
