Sbulelo Malanda, who worked at a branch in Umzimkhulu, helped foreign nationals obtain South African IDs fraudulently.
Hawks officials say the Lesotho nationals she assisted unduly benefited from social grants from the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA).
Spokesperson Simphiwe Mhlongo says the 42-year-old and her accomplices were nabbed in 2017.
"He was sentenced on Monday to four years direct imprisonment. She was also given four years for corruption and six months for contravention of the immigration act.
"Her accomplices were sentenced in 2018 and she continued to attend court until she was also sentenced."
