Updated | By AFP
The European Union's most powerful official Jean-Claude Juncker
lamented Britain's departure from the bloc on Sunday as a "tragedy".

"It's a sad day," the president of the European Commission told reporters as he arrived at a summit to endorse a deal on Britain's exit.
"To see a country like Great Britain... leave the EU is not a moment of joy nor of celebration, it's a sad moment and it's a tragedy."
