eThekwini to unveil Tourism Month campaign

eThekwini Municipality believes Durban's new tourism campaign will help plug the financial hole caused by the Covid-19 crisis and the violence in July.
The City launches its Tourism Month campaign on Friday.
City spokesperson Msawakhe Mayisela says the campaign will promote Durban under the theme 'My City, My Heritage'.
"We have been ravished by the recent civil unrest, but also Covid-19 has wreaked havoc that has resulted in tourism being on the receiving end of these abnormal circumstances.
"The intention largely this year is to encourage South Africans to rediscovery eThekwini Municipality.
"We will be unveiling quite a number of our tourist gems that we think our tourists are going to enjoy.”
