eThekwini mayor offers condolences to family of UK mayor

eThekwini mayor, Zandile Gumede says she is saddened by the death of Cambridge City mayor, Nigel Gawthrope on the upper south coast.
Gawthrope had been scuba diving off Umkomaas when he suffered an apparent heart attack after surfacing from a dive last week.
Despite the efforts of crew members and paramedics - the 61-year-old was declared dead at the scene.

The mayor of eThekwini send condolences who was here in Durban.
"The mayor of eThekwini sends condolences to the family, community and the council of Cambridge after the passing of their mayor who was here in KZN on holiday. We wish them strength, hope and cmfort during this difficult period," mayoral spokesperson, Mthunzi Gumede said.
Cambridge City is located about 80km north of London in the UK.
