eThekwini: Low pressure behind Durban north water issue
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Engineers are said to have found the problem that's been behind the water outage in several areas of northern Durban.

The eThekwini Municipality says teams from the water department have been assessing the northern aqueduct line to ascertain what the issue was.
It says the interruption was due to low pressure at certain parts of the main pipeline.

The municipality says reservoirs supplying the Umhlanga and Durban North areas are now beginning to fill up.
However, officials say due to low water levels, system recovery will vary per area.
Some of the areas that have had no supply or low pressure in their taps since Monday include La Lucia, Redhill and Umhlanga.
