eThekwini driving instructors call for recognition, more facilities

Durban driving instructors say enough is enough with the lack of facilities.

Those belonging to the Ethekwini Region Driving Schools Operators Association marched to the Durban City Hall today to plead with Mayor James Nxumalo for the city to offer them more support.

Instructors feel their calls for help, including requests for more grounds from which to operate, are falling on deaf ears.
Some of the operators spoke to Newswatch about some of the difficulties faced and the conditions of work.
