eThekwini closes most facilities as level 4 takes hold

eThekwini Municipality says some of its facilities will be closed until further notice.
These are municipal swimming pools, indoor sport facilities, all libraries, museums, art galleries, theatres and heritage sites.
The City says sporting and recreational programmes are not allowed.

At the Botanic Gardens, Umgeni Bird Park and Mitchell Park Zoo only a maximum of 100 people will be allowed in at a time.
Picnics, braais, photoshoots and group exercise are not permitted.
You can walk your pets and jog or walk alone.
The same rules apply to nature reserves which will remain open for individual exercise.
You can still enjoy a swim at the beach, but not with other people.
Fishing is allowed, but not in groups.
