As a vote is expected to take place today on the proposed ban of the media and the public from certain eThekwini executive committee meetings, the municipality's moved to clarify what it entails.

The proposed amendments to the Rules of Order are contained in a report tabled at Monday's EXCO meeting.
It suggests members of the public and the media be excluded from sittings where sensitive matters are discussed.
