Eskom's CEO warns of more load shedding
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Eskom's new CEO Andre de Ruyter says there'll be more load shedding as the utility plans to carry out maintenance regularly.

De Ruyter gave an update on Eskom's operational performance at a press briefing in Johannesburg on Friday.
He says they came up with a revised scheduled maintenance plan to try to resolve the country's energy crisis.
"We are extremely scrupulous when it comes to the position of load shedding. It's not something we take lightly, but we cannot avoid it given the state of the system where we are right now."
"Our system is constrained, it is unreliable, unpredictable and is prone to unplanned outages and break-downs," he says.
