The power utility released a statement yesterday evening saying the risk of load shedding is likely to increase further over the weekend. Eskom says trade unions have committed to normalising operations.

Eskom says teams have been dispatched to various sites - and that most sites are returning to normal. The statement continued to say that the risk of load shedding will increase over the weekend as power plants are restored - and reserves are built up for the coming week.
