Eskom to suspend load shedding on New Year's Day
Eskom is suspending load shedding on New Year's Day.
The utility’s spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says stage 4 load shedding will be implemented from 4pm on Friday afternoon until 5am.

"Thereafter, stage 2 load shedding will be implemented from 05:00 until 16:00 on 31 December.
"Load shedding will then be suspended until 05:00 on Monday, 2 January, whereafter stage 2 load shedding will be implemented until further notice."
