Eskom gears down to Stage 2 power cuts

Power utility, Eskom says Stage Two power cuts will be implemented from 9am today and not Stage Four as has been the case since the weekend.
Stage One loadshedding is currently active.
The parastatal says it's still dealing with a shortage of generating capacity.
Officials are urging consumers to continue using electricity sparingly - and switch off all non-essential appliances and lighting as well as geysers during the day.
