Eskom eases load shedding as units return to service

Eskom will reduce load shedding from stage 4 to stage 2 between 8am and 4pm on Sunday.
Stage 3 will then be implemented between 4pm and 10pm on Sunday evening.
"Since yesterday afternoon a generating unit each at the Arnot, Hendrina, Tutuka and two at the Lethabo Power Station were returned to service," says Eskom spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha.

"A generating unit each at the Duvha and Camden power stations were taken offline for repairs.
"We currently have 4 009MW on planned maintenance, while another 14 515MW of capacity is unavailable due to breakdowns.”
