Elephant flips car in KZN wildlife park

The iSimangaliso Wetland Park says animal attacks aren't unprecedented in wildlife reserves.

This after a KZN family escaped without harm on Sunday when
a bull elephant flipped their car over in the eastern shores of the park.
Spokesperson Bheki Manzini says the family of two adults and two children were on the road to Cape Vidal.

He has urged visitors to remain vigilant and keep a safe distance from the animals, especially the big five.
"The elephant reportedly pushed the vehicle with his tusks and rolled the car onto its side and then roof with passengers still inside.
“Park officials responded to the incident and rescued the family and fortunately there were no severe injuries. The family is believed to be from Mtunzini in KZN.”
