Elderly man seriously hurt after two-story fall in Hillcrest
An elderly
man has been rushed to hospital after he fell two storeys at a shopping centre
in Hillcrest, west of Durban.
Paramedics say shoppers have told them the man got caught in the belt of an escalator.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst says the man has been seriously injured.

"Netcare 911 assisted a private ambulance service on scene who managed to stabilise the patient.
"Once treated on scene the patient was transported by private ambulance to hospital for further care."
