Elderly man gunned down in Cato Ridge
Police are searching for two men who shot and killed an elderly man at a shopping centre in Cato Ridge.
It's believed the victim was attacked by the two men as he was opening his office on Thursday.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Jay Naicker says the motive for the killing is unclear.
"Upon arrival at the scene, the police officers found the body of a 65-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
"It is alleged that the victim was shot by two armed men while he was opening his office.
"The suspects fled the scene in a getaway vehicle. According to Police on the nothing seems to have been taken from the victim.
"A case of murder has been opened at Camperdown SAPS for investigation."
