Elderly man arrested for KwaMbonambi murder
An elderly man has been arrested for murder after the body of a young woman was found wrapped in a plastic bag in his vehicle in KwaMbonambi, near Empangeni.
Police say it is believed that the 65-year-old suspect took two females from a local tavern to his house at a local farm early yesterday morning.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says an argument ensued and the women suggested that they want to leave.
"He went to a room and took a shotgun and fired shots - fatally wounding one woman. Another woman managed to escape."

He is due to appear in the Empangeni Magistrates Court soon.
