Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
An elderly couple has been found murdered in their home in the north of Durban.
Police say a 68-year-old man was stabbed to death while his 60-year-old partner was found face-down in their bathtub with her hands bound.
They say a relative who'd gone to visit them at their Cottonlands home this afternoon noticed blood coming from one the bedrooms.
Police say the house was ransacked and a Toyota Conquest stolen from the yard.

Spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says anyone with information is urged to come forward and help officers to track down the killers.
"It is alleged that they were last seen by the family on Saturday around 4pm in the afternoon. The woman was strangled and the man was stabbed in the neck. At this stage, it is not known how the suspect gained entry into the house. The motive for the attack is still unknown at this stage and we have opened two counts of murder," Gwala said.
