EFF recalls host of 'underperforming' members
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
EFF leader Julius Malema has cracked the whip on members who do not toe
the party line.

He says they'll recall 210 of its public representatives, including MPs, members of provincial legislatures and councillors who failed to organise and pay for transport for members to attend the party's 10th-anniversary celebrations in Gauteng in July.
"The EFF members who are recalled from deployment and removed from elective structures will remain as members of the organisation but will not be eligible for deployment back to structures they were recalled from," Malema said at a briefing on Sunday.
The party announced in July that they'll face disciplinary action, as they were given months to raise the necessary funds.
They were banned from attending the party's anniversary rally at FNB Stadium.
During the briefing yesterday, Malema ordered these members to resign from their positions with immediate effect.
"The removal is in line with section 14 subsection 10 of the EFF constitution which says the CCT (Central Command Team) has the power to remove and replace incompetent members of the CCT BCT and RCTs. If they are loyal to the cause for economic freedom in our lives."
