EFF must take KwaDambuza concerns to Electoral Court
Updated | By Nondumiso Dube
The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) says the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) will have to take their concerns over what happened in KwaDambuza to the Electoral Court.
EFF leader Julius Malema called for the banning of the ANC from that KZN ward.
He says that members of the ruling party prevented them from entering a registration station yesterday, leading to clashes between both parties' supporters.

"Who said there should be no-go areas, there can't be. There will never be a place where it's no-go, we go everywhere,” said Malema.
Deputy CEO Mawethu Mosery says the IEC doesn't have the power to ban the ANC from KwaDambuza. He said they do not have those powers, those powers rest with the electoral court.
