EFF hand memorandum to Addington Hospital management

EFF members have handed over a memorandum to the management of Addington Hospital - demanding better public healthcare services.
They've been picketing outside the Durban hospital.
The party's deputy Secretary-General, Hlengiwe Hlophe signed and read out the memorandum - giving officials two weeks to respond.

"We're calling for the employment of more doctors, more nurses, in-sourcing of security guards and cleaning personnel, improved working conditions for nurses and doctors and the treatment of patients with respect and dignity. Further, we're calling for fixing of the oncology department to deal with the backlog and fixing of all broken machines," Hlophe says.
The EFF protests are taking place at public hospitals across the country.
