The Clicks Group and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have reached an agreement following a meeting between the retailer's CEO and the party's leadership.

The talks on Thursday followed the furore over an advert - by the hair care brand - TRESemmé - which was published on Clicks' website.
In a joined statement, released by the EFF - the discussions are said to have been constructive and robust.

It says both parties have agreed the advertisement was offensive and racist - and that Clicks takes full responsibility.
In addition to some of the action the retailer has already taken - Clicks will donate sanitary towels - as well as masks and hand sanitisers to rural communities and informal settlements.
Clicks have also agreed to provide bursaries to five black African females from rural communities for pharmaceutical studies next year.
The meeting with Clicks followed discussions with the management team of Unilever - which owns TRESemmé .
Unilever has agreed to withdraw all TRESemmé products from all stores for ten days to show remorse.
At least six retailers - including Clicks and Dis-Chem - have already removed the products of their shelves.
The EFF says it will work with police to bring to book the members who vandalised several Clicks stores during the party's protests this week.
The party says it's called off the demonstrations at Clicks.
