Education dept to host memorial, joint funeral for Ntuzuma crash victims

The KZN Department of Education says the four pupils who lost their lives in a head-on collision in Ntuzuma , north of Durban, on the first day back at school - will be laid to rest on Saturday in a joint funeral in KwaMashu.
The department says they will ensure the pupils have a dignified funeral, and that support is given to their families.

Spokesperson Kwazi Mthethwa says a memorial service will also be held on Thursday.
"As the Department of Education in KZN, we are arranging a funeral service. I can confirm to you that this Thursday, we will be holding a memorial services for all four learners that sadly passed away last week," he said.

The joint funeral will be held on Saturday.
