Education Department creates second chance with exam re-write programme

If you wrote your matric exams last year, and aren't happy with the results you got - you have until the end of today to register for a rewrite.

KZN Education is encouraging pupils from the Class of 2020 to make use of the Second Chance programme.
The department says the papers will be written in May/June and the results will be released in August.
The department's Muzi Mahlambi says this is an opportunity to improve your marks.

"People who have failed and want to rewrite and people who want to write matric may take this opportunity, irrespective of the year in which that matric was written."
"For those who want to have one statement, one certificate there is a bit of admin to do to combine it."
Registration for May / June exams has been extended to 31 March.
