#DurbanBombs: Verulam community wants bail to be denied

Verulam community members who have gathered outside the local magistrate’s court say KwaZulu-Natal has no place for extremism. They are calling the bomb scare suspects appearing in court today to be denied bail.
Initially, 19 suspects were arrested in connection with an attack at a Verulam mosque that saw a man stabbed and killed.

The suspects are also said to be linked to a number of incidents in which devices were found planted at various locations around the city.
However, in their last appearance, the State dropped charges against some of the suspects and released one on bail.
