Durban taxi strike: Paramedics affected by traffic delays
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Ambulances have been trying to get to the scene of a collision in Prospecton involving a bakkie and a truck on the N2, Southbound, just after the Joyner Road intersection.

The taxi blockade by striking drivers has now affected the movement of emergency services.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says they tried every route possible to try and reach the injured.
"Taixs have blockaded outside the old airport and it's quite a hostile environment. There's metro police on scene. We are trying to get through to the scene," he said.
Jamieson explains which routes they've had difficulty with. Listen below.
Taxi operators have converged at Toyota SA's manufacturing plant in Prospecton. It's believed the operators are protesting against high vehicle manufacturing costs which they say are affecting business.
