Durban residents urged to report drug lords
Updated | By Zongile Nhlapho
Premier Senzo Mchunu says community members play an integral role in the fight against drugs.

He made the comments at the launch of an anti-drugs campaign in Phoenix at the weekend.
Mchunu says communities often know who the drug lords are and that some police officers are in cahoots with suppliers.
He's urging residents to work hand-in-hand with law enforcement and not harbour criminals. Mchunu says the youth are the worst affected.
"Others end up in hospital for weeks and months and government has to pay. The impact of this imitates that of a child who is drugged, goes to school, doesn't do anything except sleep, fail and then they repeat [this pattern].
"These are all the things that we need to take a stand against and fight," he said.
