Durban pupils sharpen Maths, Science skills during Science2Go

Pupils from 20 schools in the eThekwini district have today sat for a science olympiad - targeting areas of Maths and Science.
The test series, which culminated today at the Chatsworth Youth Centre, is aimed targeting learning areas of Maths and Science at rural and under-resourced schools.
The learners that were in attendance included those from Claremont, KwaDabeka, Molweni, and others in eThekwini.
Education Centres, MAHLE Behr SA and CASME teamed up to host at least 40 Grade 7 pupils today.
MAHLE Behr SA's Jolene van Heerden says pupils Face off in theory quiz and practical experiments.
"The competition has been going on for the last two weeks - today has been the hub where they competed against each other - making it very exciting as we want to always motivate and inspire our young scientists," she said.
