Durban police make gruesome discovery of woman's body
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
Durban police have recovered the missing body parts of a woman who was found murdered in Glenwood last week.
The recovery followed the arrest of a 32-year-old suspect yesterday.
The police's Thembeka Mbhele says help from members of the community led police to the man.
"This comes after a body of a woman was found by a passerby. When police went to the scene, they found a half-naked body. Some body parts including the head were missing," she said.
Mbhele says the suspect will face murder charges and will appear in Durban Magistrates’ Court soon.
