Durban police confirm hijacking caught on camera

KZN Police have confirmed that a vehicle has been recovered following a hijacking that was captured on CCTV at the weekend. Watch the incident below.
Police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbhele confirmed the incident in a statement, saying a 36-year-old woman reported the crime to local police.
As seen in the video, she is confronted by three armed men on Jacaranda Road in Mobeni, Durban. The driver and two other passengers are then forced out of the vehicle.

The vehicle was later recovered on Mangosuthu Highway in Umlazi.
Authorities have issued a warning - urging drivers to be vigilant on the roads and to drive to the nearest police station if being followed.
