Durban North bus stop shooter known to victim: police

Police say they are yet to arrest a man who allegedly assaulted and shot a woman at a bus stop in Durban.
The 40-year-old was standing at the corner of Effingham and Chris Hani Road when she was attacked on Wednesday.
She sustained injuries to the leg.

The police's Robert Netshuinda says it's now emerged that the suspect is known to the woman.
He says a case of attempted murder's been opened.
"It is alleged that the suspect also tried to force himself onto the victim. Reports also indicate that the victim was taken to hospital for further medical attention."
