Durban motorist to appear in court for knocking down women, dumping body

A motorist will make his first appearance in court on Tuesday after three women were knocked down and killed in southern Durban.
The hit-and-run happened in Prospecton on Saturday.
KwaZulu-Natal police say the 23-year-old handed himself over a few hours later.

Robert Netshiunda of the KZN SAPS says one of the victims was apparently flung into the suspect's car due to the impact of the collision.
"The suspect claimed that he dumped her body at the beach out of fear."

"He will appear before the Umlazi Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday on charges of culpable homicide, defeating the ends of justice and concealment of a corpse."
