Durban Metro cop in court for drug dealing
A Durban metro police officer who has been arrested for possession of drugs is due to appear in the Wentworth Magistrates' Court today.
The 29-year-old man was taken into custody at his flat in Wentworth yesterday.
The police's Thulani Zwane says he was found packing cocaine into small plastic bags.
''This Durban Metro police officer was arrested yesterday after the Hawks together with the Durban Metro police received information that there is someone dealing in drugs in one of the flats at Wentworth area.
''The value of the drugs that were recovered yesterday is more than R35 000,'' he said.
