eThekwini acting mayor, Fawzia Peer's office says her personal assistant who collapsed at work this week is on sick leave - but doing well.

Some media reported on Thursday that Peer's Senior Executive Assistant - Hazel Moonsamy fell ill and collapsed after drinking from a bottle of water.
The incident occurred just a month after Peer was rushed to hospital after drinking water she said tasted like paraffin during a council meeting.
Moonsamy told Newswatch on Thursday that she had suffered severe stomach cramps, head pain, and nausea before collapsing. She said doctors suspected she had a severe case of influenza.
