Durban marks National Cat Day

Durban marks National Cat Day

It's National Cat Day and residents from across the city of Durban have shared some of the cutest pictures of their cats.

Cat 5

Initially popularised in America in 2005 by an animal welfare expert, the day pays tribute to the many cats that are in need of being rescued each year.

It also gives cat owners the opportunity to celebrate their pets.

Durban residents have shared images of their cats, see them below.
