Durban man slammed for Ramaphosa 'k-word' video
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Presidency has described a Durban man who calls President Cyril Ramaphosa the k-word in a video, as an attention seeker.
Kessie Nair posted the video on Facebook - in which he accuses Ramaphosa of oppressing the nation and calls for him to be charged with treason.
Ramaphosa's spokesperson, Khusela Diko had this to say about Nair.
"The Presidency really believes that this human being is not deserving of any airtime. The racist rant against the president shows delusional and attention seeking behaviour," Diko said.
Bayview CPF chairperson, Brandon Pillay has opened a crimen injuria case against Nair.
"We cannot allow for any racist remarks to be made by any individual. You cannot go and blasphemise a state president. This is the president of the country and he deserves respect from everybody," Pillay said.
