Durban man in court after being caught with R1-million worth of dagga

A 58-year-old man is appearing in a Pinetown court today after drugs - including dagga - were found on his property.
He was arrested yesterday during a joint operation in New Germany - involving the Hawks, Crime Intelligence, the Shongweni K9 Unit and Metro Police.
They had been tipped off about the man's alleged activities. He is said to have been dealing in dagga and cannabis oil.

Officers seized 150 kg of compressed dagga with an estimated street value of R1-million following a search of his home.
Several litres of benzine and so-called magic mushrooms were also found.
